I’m Jen Camp, an online dyslexia and structured literacy tutor with 20+ years of teaching experience. I help K–8 students who struggle with reading, spelling, decoding, and fluency build stronger skills through explicit, step-by-step instruction.

My background includes a BA in Early Childhood Education, an MA in Instruction and Curriculum, a Special Education endorsement, and experience teaching both in the classroom and online. I’ve worked with students across a wide range of reading needs, including dyslexia, suspected dyslexia, spelling struggles, and students who have lost confidence because reading feels harder than it should.

I use structured literacy instruction to help students understand how words work. Lessons are clear, systematic, and designed to build real reading and spelling skills instead of relying on guessing, memorizing, or hoping it clicks eventually.
